Since 1997, Heijs Food Products (HFP), have been part of the Heijs Group, producing chicken and fillet products and “high end” food products for the fast food industry.

HFP has a leading role in the market for tailor-made, brand and customer-specific chicken products that are marketed to customers around the world. HFP develops innovative products in partnership with customers to meet the growing demand for responsible meat products. With this HFP strives for the highest quality and food safety. This added value strengthens the market position of the customer and supports the brand image of fast food chains.

HFP leads the way in the customized products field for the international fast food industry. We look after our employees, they are competent and motivated, which combined with modern machinery and a closed quality assurance system means we can deliver the best from the market every day.

 

HFP has the most modern machinery including computer-controlled cutting machines, scanning and detection equipment. This is supported and guaranteed by a private laboratory with a real-time PCR method which performs pathogen detection. Our operational processes and quality systems are certified to international standards and customer requirements such as BRC, IFS, ILAC.

 

HFP works in partnership with their customers. This customer intimacy focuses on specific product specifications and quality requirements that our customers desire. We want to know our customers as well as possible. Products and production requirements are very much aligned with and customized for the customer. In collaboration with fast food chains, HFP develops tailor-made food products whereby the food safety requirements go beyond legal requirements.
